I work as PhD-student at the Research Institute of Child Development and Education (RICDE) of the University of Amsterdam. In my PhD, I hope to co-develop an intervention for expectant parents with mild to borderline intellectual disabilities and multiple and complex problems around pregnancy to ensure a safe environment for the newborn child. Afterward, I hope to examine the intervention on its effectiveness.

In addition, I teach master students Child Development and Education in diagnostics (Diagnostiek naar Behandeling 2) and I supervise their master thesis.
