    Mariana Riquito is a PhD Candidate in Social Sciences at the Institute for Social Science Research of the University of Amsterdam (The Netherlands) and a Junior Researcher at the Centre for Social Studies of the University of Coimbra (Portugal). Her doctoral research is being conducted under the supervision of Cristóbal Bonelli (Anthropology) and Paul Raekstad (Political Science). Her current research interests include critical debates around the 'Anthropocene', ecofeminism, alternatives and resistances to extractivism, political ontologies, and political ecology.
