Mariana Riquito is a PhD Candidate in Political Science at the Institute for Social Science Research of the University of Amsterdam (The Netherlands) and a Junior Researcher at the Centre for Social Studies of the University of Coimbra (Portugal). She is a Research Member of the EU-funded COST ACTION 'Traces as Research Agenda for Climate Change, Technology Studies, and Social Justice'. Mariana Riquito holds a Bachelor's and a Master's Degree in International Relations from the Faculty of Economics of the University of Coimbra (Portugal) and a Master's Degree in Sociology and Political Sciences from Sciences Po Bordeaux (France). Her current research interests include debates around the so-called 'Anthropocene', Political Ecology, 'Green' Extractivism and Prefigurative Politics.
