Application process
The application process consists of 7 steps.
-
1. Check the entry requirements
The Admissions Office will evaluate your eligibility on the basis of 3 criteria:
- Secondary school diploma
- English proficiency
- Mathematics proficiency
-
2. Register in Studielink
Studielink is the national online registration system for students who would like to pursue a degree programme at a Dutch university. All students who would like to apply to a programme at the UvA need to register in Studielink first.
-
3. Check your personal enrolment checklist in SIS
After registering in Studielink, you will receive your UvAnetID. This will give you access to check the status of your personal enrolment Checklist. There you find the subsequent steps that you need to take in order to complete your enrolment.
-
4. Submit your online application in SIS 'My Applications'
In order to check if you are eligible for the programme you need to upload and submit your documents in ‘My applications’. Do not forget to keep an eye on the deadlines!
Students with an international secondary school diploma in combination with a HBO-P can skip this step.
-
5. Complete the selection procedure
Since the Bachelor’s in Business Administration is a popular programme and we want to guarantee a small-scale and interactive programme, we added a selection procedure to the admissions process of the programme. This procedure consists of a series of steps including the evaluation of your application and a test.
-
6. Check your ranking number on 15 April 2023
Once the selection test dates have passed, each applicant will receive a ranking number. The ranking number is ultimately what determines whether a candidate is offered a place in the BSc Business Administration.
-
7. Pay the tuition fee
Your tuition fee needs to be credited to the UvA’s bank account 1 day before your degree programme starts at the latest, so 31 August for a September start.
