First Semester
Students will start with the compulsory specialisation seminars: Developing Media Entertainment and Clashing Views on Media Effects. You will also start your thesis process by following Thesis preparation groups. In block 3 you take the course Research Methods Tailored to the Thesis course, in which you will refresh, train and further develop your research skills before starting to write your Master’s thesis in the following semester.

The highlight of the course for me was to write a weekly blog post on the week’s topic. This helped me to exercise my writing ability, combining both the scientific knowledge as well as our thoughts on current practices and real-life media examples.Stephani Pio Read her experience
