The Master’s Latin American Studies provides a solid foundation for a career at non-governmental and governmental organisations and civil society agencies both within the Netherlands and abroad. Several alumni have also started their own development projects, established NGOs, founded their own businesses or work as an independent consultant and a writer. It also serves as a good foundation for a PhD position which can be supported by the pre-PhD track of LASP (Interuniversity Latin American Studies Programme)

Your diploma is not a farewell

After graduating, you don't have to say goodbye to the University of Amsterdam! We are happy to help you develop your career. You can join the young alumni programme, which will assist you in mapping out your career. And as an alumnus, you can also still use the Student Careers Centre.
