Specialise in one of the tracks of the Master's programme in Linguistics:
Pre-Master's
If you do not meet the entry requirements for the Master's programme, for example if you have a relevant degree from a Dutch University of Applied Sciences (HBO), or an equivalent thereof, you might be eligible to eliminate your deficiencies by completing a pre-Master’s programme. For Linguistics, the following pre-Master's programme is offered:
Dual Master's
In addition to the regular, one-year Master's programmes, the UvA also offers a selective Dual Master's programme, in which you can put your theoretical knowledge into practice during your studies.
Research Master's
Are you interested in conducting research and pursuing an academic career? If so, consider our two-year research Master's programme.
