Last week we announced our plans to connect cooled water pipes in Building D on Saturday 4 February. These operations have been postponed, as the necessary preparations could not be carried out on account of the cold weather.

To facilitate the connection, the existing water pipes will need to be sawn through and provided with a T fitting to which the new pipes will be connected. We do not expect this to cause much noise nuisance, as the work will be carried out indoors. The operations, to be performed by the Kuijpers contracting firm will not start before 08:00 and will be completed before 16:00.
