Collaborate with the Humanities
Our faculty is connected to society in many different ways. Through various forms of collaboration, platforms and activities, we ensure a continuous exchange between academia and society.
Person-based collaborations
With their knowledge and experience from outside the academic world, our professors by special appointment, Honorary Fellows and Artists in Residence enrich teaching and research at the faculty.
Amsterdam Humanities Hub
The Amsterdam Humanities Hub brings together partners from the cultural sector, government and the business community with researchers and young talent, to co-create innovative and surprising solutions to urgent questions.
UvA-podia in the University Quarter
In the University Quarter, the Allard Pierson, SPUI25, the University Library and VOX-POP create a vibrant home where academia and society meet and interact. Most events are free to attend and accessible for a wide audience.
Humanities Venture Lab
The Humanities Venture Lab supports the initiation, growth and sustainability of initiatives, encouraging entrepreneurship within the humanities in the broadest sense.
