Every year, the Faculty of Humanities awards an Education Award to a course that is innovative or uses inspiring educational methods.

Winners 2025

The Machelor's course Friendship and its Others by Divya Nadkarni en Tjalling Valdés Olmos is the winner of the FGw Education Award 2025. The course explores the politically transformative qualities of friendship in our era of rising polarisation, cancel culture and populism. The Audience Award went to the course Byzantium.

Nominated courses

All staff and students of the Faculty of Humanities were invited to nominate a course for the Education Award before 16 May 2025. From these nominated courses, the jury then made a selection. Watch videos of all nominated courses below.
