Alfred Evans has 25 years of experience in international finance, with sector-specific expertise in energy and agricultural commodities. He served as Regional CEO at a global agri-industrial processing company, established financial divisions within international commodities firms, and was CEO of a UK-regulated asset manager with over USD 1 billion in investment commitments focused on climate change.
Marcella Marques Lopes is a civil engineer and urban planner committed to advancing climate action and a just transition. She specializes in Carbon Accounting for the infrastructure and construction sector, with hands-on experience supporting organizations globally. Her work focuses on building greenhouse gas inventories (Scopes 1, 2, and 3) aligned with the GHG Protocol, setting science-based targets, and ensuring compliance with European sustainability reporting standards, including CSRD. Marcella combines technical expertise and strategic insight to help companies navigate complex decarbonization challenges.
Matteo Fermeglia is Assistant Professor of Climate Law and Governance at Amsterdam University, Faculty of Humanities and at the Amsterdam School for Transnational, European and Regional Studies. He holds a Ph.D. in Legal Sciences at the University of Udine, Italy. His Ph.D. Thesis focused on the legal aspects of the European Union Emission Trading System.
