Marjolein Moorman, Alderman for Education and Poverty Reduction in Amsterdam, is known for her steadfast commitment to equal opportunities. Milio van de Kamp, sociologist and author of the much-discussed Misschien moet je wat lager mikken (Perhaps You Should Aim a Little Lower), connects personal experiences with academic insights. Bas ter Weel, Professor of Economics at the University of Amsterdam and Director of SEO Economic Research, is closely involved with the Opportunity Atlas, which clearly illustrates how unequally the cards have been dealt in the Netherlands. Under the guidance of Lisa Peters, they explore the causes, consequences, and - above all - the solutions for a fairer society.
