Micky Overman originally hails from the Netherlands, which gives her a unique and refreshing perspective on all things British – from comedy to life itself. She moved to London to start performing stand-up comedy and quickly rose through the ranks of the scene. Within a year, she reached the finals of both Funny Women and the Leicester Square New Comedian of the Year. Not long after, she was nominated for the Chortle Best Newcomer award and wrote and performed her first solo show at the Edinburgh Festival. In April 2025, she sold out the Carré and De Kleine Komedie theatres in Amsterdam. Micky studied Media Studies at the UvA.
Daniel Yazbek is a stand-up comedian from South Africa. He quickly found his footing in Amsterdam’s comedy scene thanks to his sharp storytelling and charming rapport with the audience. As a child, he was traumatised – but then again, which comedian or person wasn’t?! He does a brilliant job of hiding it, putting the audience at ease as effortlessly as he feels on stage. Daniel studied Computer Science and Applied Mathematics at the UvA/VU.
Diederik Zuurmond (he’s the weird one – he is believed to study Biology at the UvA) works at a hardware store and it hardly wears on him. He is a London-born Amsterdam-based stand-up comedian.
Sjoerd Scott is a creator and performer of online video content and stand-up comedy, and is currently studying Law at a university of applied sciences.
Nadine Froughi is a perpetually prize-losing stand-up comedian and UvA alum who actually uses her degree in Communication Science in her day job (tech marketing) – but actively avoids it in her comedy.
