Alumni Week: What if every step contributes to knowledge?

On Saturday 3 October at 10:00, we will kick off Alumni Week 2026 with the Run for Science, made possible in part by the UvA Fund. A 5 km run is the perfect way to warm up your muscles for this week’s varied programme. Right after the run the Weekend of Science begins at Science Park. There are 100 places available, so don’t wait too long to register!

Every participant will receive an exclusive UvA running shirt as a memento of the day. There are also great prizes to be won for the fastest runners, with the top prize of 2 × six months of free sports at the University Sports Centre with an all‑access pass, giving you a choice of almost 20 different sports.
