This will involve the publication of a road map of concrete plans for the immediate future, including new career and development paths for academics. Professor Huub Dijstelbloem has been named chair of Recognition and Rewards for the UvA. The national agreements from the Roadmap 'Room for everyone's talent' are central, and we will be giving shape to these within the UvA in the coming years. Dijstelbloem: 'It is great to see the steps that have already been made in "Recognition and Rewards". Now it is time for further elaboration and implementation. I am happy to contribute to that; for a vital university that fully deploys diverse contributions for better education, research, teamwork and social significance.'
This spring, we will design differentiated career paths, in close collaboration with a delegation from all faculties. The result of this design process will be a concept for differentiated career paths for university lecturers, associate professors, and professors. Profiles or aspects like education, research, societal impact, leadership, and teamwork will be designed, which we will test and evaluate within different pilots in the new academic year. Take a look at this flyer for in-dept information about the design sessions.
