UvA-podia in the University Quarter

In addition to studying, there are many different ways to develop your skills and gain (practical) experience in the University Quarter. Find out what opportunities UvA-podia have to offer.

At UvA-podia you can, for example, work as a student assistant, do an internship, or find your first (or next) job. There are also plenty of opportunities to further develop your skills. You can gain experience in creating and running programmes and exhibitions, and everything that comes with it. This includes research, budgeting, interviewing, producing, moderating and much more.

VOX-POP's student programme makers

VOX-POP's programming is co-hosted by an annually changing group of talented student programme makers. Every 6-8 weeks they organise a 'Close Up': evenings in which a social issue is examined by academics, professionals and artists.

VOX-POP's student residencies

As part of the talent development programme, VOX-POP offers two yearly student residencies for students or recent graduates with work experience who want to create their own programme series. In the series, they explore a specific theme in depth and bring together different perspectives. To this end, they are provided with a programme budget and guidance on both content and production.

SPUI25 in Spe

SPUI25 in Spe is SPUI25’s youth editorial team. It comprises people in their twenties who offer incisive analysis, understand what matters to young adults, and aren't afraid to present, experiment and lead debates.

The Allard Pierson fellowship programme

The Allard Pierson Fellowship Programme offers researchers the opportunity to conduct research on the museum's unique and extensive collections. In this way, the Allard Pierson advances academic studies, promotes knowledge exchange, and strengthens ties with academic institutions worldwide. The fellowships are intended for both early career and senior researchers, from The Netherlands and abroad.
