Federica Bono is an Assistant Professor in the Political and Economic Geographies program group. Her work has explored everyday informal and solidarity relations, primarily in relation to food inequality. Her current research explores shortages and surpluses of infant food, alternative infant feeding practices, and their embeddedness in geopolitics at different scales – from the embodied to the territorial.
Before joining UvA, Federica was an Assistant Professor at Christopher Newport University (USA) where she taught Community-Engaged-Learning GIS and Cartography classes.
