    Cristina Duran Casablancas is book and paper conservator at the Amsterdam City Archives, and lecturer in the Conservation and Restoration of Cultural Heritage Programme at the University of Amsterdam. She graduated in Art History from the University of Barcelona, and in Paper and Book Conservation from Dutch Institute for Cultural Heritage in Amsterdam. In 2016 she completed a Master of Research in Science and Engineering in Arts Heritage and Archaeology at the Institute for Sustainable Heritage, University College London. In 2022 she received her PhD degree in Heritage Science at the same institute. The topic of her research is the modelling of preservation management in archival and library collections.
