    Jess Fowler is a Junior Lecturer in Sociology. Her research interests concern digital cultures, extremism, far-right ideologies, and masculinity, with a particular focus on online male supremacist communities. She hold an MSc in Sociology from the University of Amsterdam and a BA in Religion, Politics, and Society from the University of Leeds. Her master's thesis, Masculinities and Emotions of Men Going Their Own Way, explored identity construction and emotional dynamics within the r/MGTOW subreddit. Jess has taught extensively in sociology and public administration, including research methods, gender & sexuality, and urban sociology.
