I am a PhD candidate and researcher in the Department of Political Science at the Amsterdam Institute for Social Science Research (AISSR), part of University of Amsterdam.
My research focuses on the turbulent recent history of Polish democracy and its relationship to reproduction. I trace the political negotiations that have taken place around this topic in Poland since its transition from communism, and the role that feminist social movements have played in these processes. In this context, I am interested in the interplay between citizenship, democratic transitions, and civil society space.
