I am a lecturer at the Marketing department of the University of Amsterdam. Within this role, there are various educational and organisational aspects. I coordinate the education of the Marketing section and take part in education committees. In terms of education, I supervise MSc thesis students and develop and teach courses in the BSc and (regular and Executive) MSc programs of the Amsterdam Business School. My focus as a lecturer is on developing education that stimulates students and helps them to acquire skills in an optimal way, on a course, program, and section level. My academic interest lies mainly at the intersection of sustainability vs. consumption and marketing. In terms of analytics, I am interested in web scraping techniques and analyzing online (textual) data.
