In the 21st century, our societies face multiple challenges related to human health. And many exciting new areas of research are developing, such as the area of ‘regenerative medicine’. In this minor, we will explore the frontiers of basic biomedical research and its diverse applications, organised around three themes: ‘cancer’, ‘aging’ and ‘food for health’. Students will engage with the material from different perspectives: basic biomedical research, entrepreneurship and public engagement.

It is open for students from all disciplines, but particularly interesting for students of Biomedical Sciences, Psychobiology, Biology, and Bèta-Gamma. International students are welcome as well.
