Content

In collaboration with a variety of (guest)lecturers and experiential experts, you will explore relations between disability and society from different socio-political and theoretical perspectives. There will be plenty of space to reflect on your own experiences while deepening your knowledge through historical and theoretical background.

The key topic in this course is inclusive participation in research, teaching, and society. Additional focuses lie in inclusive research methods, disability in a global perspective, imaginaries and framings of disability, differences between disabilities, intersectionality, and techniques to analyse representation of disability in various media. Where possible, we use creative methods for assignments and classes.
