Speaking several languages and commuting between different places can be enriching and unsettling at the same time. Federico Gobbo, professor of Interlinguistics and Esperanto, experienced that himself and started a podcast about it during the first lockdown in 2020: The Commuters. Dean Marieke de Goede joins him to discuss podcasting, language, mobility and identity. 'All polyglots know this: when you speak another language, you are a slightly different version of yourself.'
