In 2022-2023 the eleven tracks of MSc Biomedical Sciences started the track representative programme. The purpose of this programme is to increase cohesion within the track by facilitating feedback of students to the programme management, improving the way students are informed and organising events.

Each track will have one representative. In October 2023, eight tracks have now been provided with a representative. The programme director, Jurgen Seppen, is still searching for representatives in the other tracks and is trying to ensure funding of this programme for the next academic year.

The tasks of the representatives are:

  • Answering questions from other students regarding the programme
  • Answering questions regarding internships, forms and assessments.
  • Organising a social event within the track
  • Sending a short summary of their activities every two months to the study advisor and track coordinator
  • Act as a first contact for the track coordinator, study adviser and programme management
