Humans are at a tipping point. Global problems such as climate change and urbanization require a radical shift to a society in which animals and nature are given a prominent place. In both research and practice, other animals are increasingly seen as acting actors, as engaged participants in society. But how do we achieve not only a nature-inclusive but also an animal-inclusive society? How do we make other animals active participants in our shared society of the future?
