The facilities of the FNWI Visualization Lab of Robert Belleman have been used, among other things, to develop an AR application in which 3D reconstructions of archaeological objects can be placed in a learning environment.

This is a joint development result of student Sander Hansen (Bachelor of Computer Science) and the 4D Research Lab of the Department of Archeology. The added value of this application is that it offers a unique opportunity to make static objects in museums interactive (zoom in, rotate, manipulate). This produces a "tangibility" that can be used to stimulate the student's curiosity and to promote the ability to ask questions.
