The consortium’s grant application made an exceptional impression on the evaluation committee. They praised the quality of the research options within NETWORKS and the way NETWORKS is organized: "the proposal convincingly demonstrates that the fellows will be excellently prepared for high-level positions in academia and industry".
NETWORKS started in the summer of 2014 as a 10-year programme funded by the Dutch Ministry of Education, Culture and Science through the Netherlands Organisation for Scientific Research (NWO), hosted by the University of Amsterdam (UvA), Eindhoven University of Technology (TU/e), Leiden University (UL), and the Center for Mathematics and Computer Science (CWI) in Amsterdam. The programme covers a broad range of topics dealing with stochastic and algorithmic aspects of networks.
