Admission to the MSc Business Administration pre-Master's programme is highly selective. Please check the admission requirements for University Bachelor's (WO) students before submitting your application.
During the pre-Master's programme, you will complete coursework in either business or research related subjects. Which courses you will follow depends on the type of university degree you have completed. Consequently, there are 2 variations of the pre-Master programme for WO students:
Entry requirements consist of the minimum academic study and mathematics requirements which all applicants must achieve in order to qualify for admission.
Applicants must have completed a WO Bachelor’s programme which meets 1 of the following requirements:
Mathematics are a fundamental component of both the pre-Master’s and Master’s programme in Business Administration. An appropriate level of mathematics is therefore required prior to beginning the pre-Master’s programme. You can fulfill this requirement in one of three ways:
Note that the mathematics requirement must be fulfilled on or before the application deadline. Therefore if you intend to fulfill this requirement by obtaining a Mathematics certificate, it must be completed before 1 June 2020.
There are many more applications from qualified candidates than there are places in the programme. As a result, the Admissions Committee selects candidates for the MSc Business Administration pre-Master’s programme based on their Grade Point Average (GPA).
Candidates with a WO Bachelor’s degree are required to have a GPA of at least 7.0 in years 1-3 of the Bachelor’s programme, including any electives.
Applicants who meet both the eligibility and selection requirements will be considered for admission by the Admissions Committee during the selection round. In total, there are 50 places available for university-level students.
Only fully completed applications inclusive of all documents will be processed. All candidates who have qualified for selection will be informed of the result of their application by the last week of June at the latest.
