'In the end you realise how much you have refined your skills and have grown as a person'

'I chose the UvA because of the quality and academic reputation of the university. I wanted to study at one of the best universities in the world. My fellow students have diverse backgrounds which this makes group activities very interesting. The lecturers really encourage us to counter their statements or ask questions.'
'Studying at the Amsterdam Business School is challenging but rewarding. It pushes you to do better and better but in the end you realise how much you have refined your skills and have grown as a person. There are a lot of opportunities, academic and non-academic. Besides studying you can also do occasional jobs that can be a lot of fun, like bartending at music festivals or being a tour guide for a day. A lot of companies have positions for interns and I would say it is fairly easy to manage to get one, so that's also an option. I really recommend getting out of the comfort zone and doing something new because you might really like it in the end. If you never try, you'll never know.'
'The specialisation course Creative Entrepreneurship is my favourite course. It gives me insight in entrepreneurship in creative industries. I really like the UvA campuses; having such nice surroundings do wonders for the stress levels.'
'I love studying in Amsterdam. The city is so vibrant and full of opportunities and nice surprises. It's really easy to get by while only speaking English. Many European cities can be easily reached.'
'After completing this Master's I intend to find an internship that can provide me with some valuable insights and then venture into the entrepreneurial ecosystem with my own business initiative.'
