Computational Science (joint degree UvA/VU)


The Faculty of Science aims to attract talented students to its international classrooms. It offers several scholarship programmes designed to offer - both Dutch and international - motivated students the opportunity to pursue a Science degree at the University of Amsterdam.

Amsterdam Science Talent Scholarship

For: Top 10% talented students from the European Union / European Economic Area (non-Dutch)
Amount: €15,000
Deadline: is extended until 14 March 2022

Amsterdam Merit Scholarship (AMS)

For: Outstanding students from outside European Economic Area (EEA)
Amount: Equal to tuition fee
Deadline: 15 January 2022

Amsterdam Physics and Astronomy Scholarship (APAS)

For: students in the UvA/VU Physics and Astronomy programme from the European Union / European Economic Area (non-Dutch)
Amount: €5,000
Deadline: extended until 14 March 2022

ATLAS MSc+ Talent Programme Analytical Sciences

For: highly talented Chemistry students in the Analytical Sciences track
Amount: maximum of €5,000
Application deadlines are:
1 October 2021 (for students starting their MSc in September 2022)
14 January 2022 (for students starting their MSc in February 2023)

Non-UvA scholarships
