The application process differs, depending on whether you have completed the Bachelor Medical informatics, Bèta Gamma with major Medical informatics or other diploma’s.
  • Students with Bachelor Medical informatics or BG

    Students with Bachelor Medical informatics or Bèta Gamma with major Medical informatics 

    Deadline

    Starting in September: 31 Augustus 23.59 CEST
    Starting in February: 31 January 23.59 CEST

    Deadline with a UvA Scholarship 

    Medical Informatics has no scholarship.

    Application and admission process

    If you have obtained a Bachelor Medical informatics or a Bachelor Bèta Gamma, major Medical informatics at UvA-AMC, please follow the steps below to apply for this programme.

    Check enrolment and admission requirements for MI and BG students
  • Students with other diploma's (lateral students)

    These deadlines only apply for students who completed the premaster Medical informatics.

    Starting in September: 31 Augustus 23.59 CEST
    Starting in February: 31 January 23.59 CEST

    Note that to meet these deadlines, application for the pre-master's programme must be started up to one year earlier. Check the website linked below for the pre-master programme deadlines.

    Deadline with a UvA Scholarship 

    Medical informatics has no scholarship.

    If you do not have the appropriate prior education or if you are an international student, you must first complete the pre-master Medical informatics to be admitted to the master's programme.
