Registration for the UvA Thesis Prize 2024 now open

Registrations for the annual UvA Thesis Prize are now open. The UvA Thesis Prize is an additional recognition of academic excellence. Master's students who have achieved a grade of 9 or higher for their thesis are eligible to participate.
Participants must have graduated between 1 April 2024 and 1 April 2025 and have received a grade of 9 or higher for their master's thesis. The grand prize winner of the UvA Thesis Prize 2025 will receive €3,000, while the other (faculty-level) winners will each receive €1,000.
The jury will select a winner from each faculty, from which the best thesis of 2025 will ultimately be chosen. The grand prize for the UvA Thesis Prize will be awarded during the Education Day on Tuesday, 28 October 2025.
