More insight through science

The Veni recipients represent a number of different academic disciplines. Many of their research projects have a direct social relevance. For example, some of the researchers explore the role of social solidarity in the current European crisis and the underlying causes of violent elections in non-Western countries. Other research projects focus on the pros and cons of ‘flexwork’ and attempt to frame public opinion with regard to the multicultural society since the 1970s to the present.
