The UvAdata management system consists of over 100 reports with countless navigation and drill-down options for every aspect of teaching, research and support. This online management information system is based on the principle that all information should be available within a single system, and should be up-to-date, consistent and versatile at all times. UvAdata collects data from various systems and makes them available through an integrated platform. The system provides access to key administrative systems, national key figures (such as 1Cijfer HO, WOPI) and in-house UvA survey files. All of the reports feature monitoring functionality (graphic), an analysis report and detailed information. With regard to the degree programmes, UvAdata has been linked to the new Student Information System (SIS).

UvAdata now contains full data on the following areas:

• academic performance

• study progress

• valuation

The Education Dashboards in UvAdata comprise standardised reports which are made available to every level of the University and can be applied in policy progress meetings between the various organisational layers. Definitions of the system data are standardised and all subjects are related to UvA objectives.
