Continuing Professional Development

For conservation and technical art history

The Conservation and Restoration department of the University of Amsterdam helps maintain high standards for the preservation and conservation of cultural heritage. It also contributes to the lifelong learning required by accreditation systems in the field of conservation. The Professional Development programme offers workshops, masterclasses and courses for conservators, conservation scientists and (technical) art historians who want to update their knowledge and skills.

We strive to offer courses on different levels and in service of various disciplines. Please check our upcoming courses or browse our archive of past courses. We are currently re-developing our course programme and are interested in your opinion and permanent education wishes. If you have any suggestions or wish to stay informed, please contact us via pe-CenR@uva.nl.
