At the University of Amsterdam you can study a range of over twenty modern languages and two classical languages. Learning a language is a valuable addition to your skillset. There are different ways in which you can do this as part your Bachelor’s programme: by choosing a language minor or taking the individual language courses as electives. The UvA also offers two English-taught Bachelor’s programmes – European Studies and Linguistics – in which learning a modern language is a core component of the study programme.
