Office of International Student Affairs (BIS)

The Office of International Student Affairs (BIS) is the central point of contact for international partner universities at the University of Amsterdam (UvA).   

The office provides support and oversight for various aspects of international student affairs. 

It oversees and manages global student mobility, facilitates (international) student engagement, administers and disburses student scholarships and collaborate with academic units and faculty international offices to cultivate and build strategic partnerships and collaborations around the world.  

Faculty International Offices 

Each UvA faculty has its own International Office responsible for faculty-specific coordination of student mobility and academic partnerships. This includes programme-level support for Erasmus+ agreements and non-European mobility initiatives.
