Courses

The programme has two types of courses:

  • Basic courses (compulsory, first and part of second semester): to provide a solid basis in the field of quantum chemistry, statistical thermodynamics, molecular modeling techniques and scientific computing
  • Advanced courses (compulsory and elective, part of second and third semester): to specialise in particle-based modeling in the field of chemistry, physics, or biology

Research training

The research training consists of:

  • two minor research projects (first and second semester)
  • a literature study (third semester)
  • a major research project (final semester): conducted within one of the institutions participating in the programme, or at one of their European academic or industrial partners
  • Master's thesis on the major research project, and a presentation before an international jury
