Jacobien Adam - Digital Business
'I chose this Master’s programme because it adds a lot of knowledge to what I learned in my Bachelor’s. The track Digital Business really stood out to me due to its relevance at this time. For example, AI and Blockchain are both key drivers of innovation and it is great to learn more about these technologies and how they can be used to cause digital transformations within organisations.'
'In general, the programme has met my expectations. What I liked the most is that you could fine-tune the programme to your own liking, with elective courses. I also really enjoyed the sessions in Carré. It was inspiring to hear about the different organisations, e.g. Unilever, Philips, L’Oréal, and their work. Especially because I was in the end phase of my studies and I had to envision what job I would want to be in after this Master’s.'
'Many lecturers in this Master’s programme are professors that have a lot of experience in their field and know how to transfer their enthusiasm about this to their students. Some concepts might seem abstract at first, but when the right teacher explains them well, this really helps to understand the theory.'
'Studying in Amsterdam was great due to everything being close by and the fact that there is always something fun that you can do when you have finished studying for the day. The city has a very international vibe, which is an advantage for international students. It is easy to meet new people, especially if you join one of the many student or study associations.'
'After finishing my Master’s I will start working in a job where my interest lies. This job really builds on to the knowledge that I gained in this programme. I am really looking forward to it, and I am very happy that this Master’s programme resulted in getting my dream job.'
