'I was initially drawn towards choosing the University of Amsterdam for the reputation it has earned among the highest ranking universities in the world. I was however convinced later on of UvA’s competence and experience in gearing students with knowledge and skills necessary in the contemporary world as well as preparing them for a career full of opportunities.'
'What I like most about the programme is the way it incorporates both theoretical and practical applications of the course subjects. The coursework allows for individual exploration of the economic phenomena in real life through research studies and other groups projects. Another aspect that has captured my special attention was the willingness of most lecturers and tutors to facilitate the process of learning by all possible means.'
'Due to COVID restrictions I have spent this entire academic year in my home country. Although I can only talk about the online experience I can certainly say that studying at the Amsterdam Business School can be quite challenging and rewarding at the same time. The system facilitates active interaction between students and the teachers, in addition to stimulating communication among students through group projects and class designs.'
'The Business Administration programme offers a broad range of career paths for students to choose from. I have not yet decided on a specific profession I would commit to after graduation but I am planning to apply for a Master’s programme to expand my qualification in the field I will choose to advance in.'
'I believe the Amsterdam Business School (ABS) successfully completed an entire academic year of online education. To compensate for the lack of face-to-face interaction the lecturers and tutors would occasionally organise additional sessions to help the students. Several other adjustments have been made as well, for example in the grading system, in pursuit of helping the students get through the pandemic. For me personally it has been a nice online learning experience with the ABS.'
