Theoretical insights and practical solutions
Are you interested in the functioning of EU policy? Would you like to pursue a career in European or international institutions? This Master's programme teaches you to translate theoretical insights into practical policy solutions. It combines both theoretical and hands-on, empirical training in order to prepare you for a career as a European policy expert within international and national institutions, but also within the broader context of NGOs and the business world.
Hands-on field experience
Taught by experts from the fields of Humanities, Anthropology, Economics, Geography, Law and Political Science, this programme combines lecture courses with small group seminars and offers a unique Humanities perspective on the diverse factors – ideas, history, culture – that shape EU policy. It combines theory with hands-on field experience. If conditions permit, this will include a workshop in Brussels as well as an extended field course that examines the ways in which EU policies ‘touch down’ in different national and regional contexts.
In this video the teacher and student of the programme explain how this programme is structured and what the unique aspects are.
