Spotlight on a course

The core course Holocaust and Genocide Studies will introduce you to the broad range of research and discussions in the field of holocaust and genocide studies. Also, you will have the opportunity to survey, analyse and select material relevant to the topics presented in the course. You will learn about the causes and mechanisms of genocides and mass repression as well as the transitional justice measures attendant to the aftermath of mass political repression. All participants write a research paper on one of the course topics and complete a Master's thesis proposal.
