Student Martha always liked solving puzzles. As she got older, she got quite interested in human behaviour and psychology. In this Master's track, while programming, she saw the connection between solving a puzzle and a programming task. In this video, she shows you what a day in the life of a student looks like.
Study programme
Unlocking the full potential of these vast amounts of behavioural data requires a thorough understanding of data science techniques and human behaviour modelling. The Behavioural Data Science Master's track aims to combine the two. The programme draws on knowledge of psychology, research methodology and applied statistics at the undergraduate level, followed by training in advanced (big) data techniques, academic skills, as well as practical and professional skills.
Careers
There is a high demand for trained data scientists, which means that the career prospects are very promising. The career prospects are therefore very good. This master's track covers a wide range of topics and skills. You have the opportunity to specialise in specific areas of behavioural data science.
Graduates of the track have gone on to work as:
- consultants
- data analysts
- data managers
- test developers
- methodologists
- researchers
