A total of 11 UvA associated conservation specialists in three different specialisations will be presenting their research at the event. Trainee conservators and upcoming alumni Daphne Kramer, Marieke Kruithof and Lihi Levie are presenting their research on a new synthetic filling material for polyofin plastic objects; time-based arts in pubic space; and audio in time-based arts respectively, with their supervising lectures Evelyne Snijders and Sanneke Stigter as co-autors.
Lecturers Ellen Jansen and Evelyne Snijders will be presenting insights from their work carried out at UvA's Media Art Conservation Lab, while lecturer Clara von Waldthausen is presenting her research for the SBMK Project Photography together with Photograph conservation alumni Kaleigh van der Gulik and Magdalena Pilko. Wood and Furniture conservation alumnus Thijs Janssen is presenting his research on a collection of natural and synthetic rubber gasmasks, while upcoming UvA student in Contemporary Art conservation Kim Kraczon is presenting consrevation perspectives in a working artist's studio from her experience at Studio Olafur Eliasson.
