This summer, PhD cadidate Strategy & International Business (IB) Eugénie Coche was awarded the prize for Best doctoral tutorial research plan. She received the award after presenting her plan at the 17th Vaasa International Business Conference, the largest in this field in Scandinavia.

The title of the research is 'The Information Security-Privacy Control Nexus in Data Governance: How Organizations Deal with Technologies and Stakeholders Across Borders.'

The interdisciplinary character of the research in particular impressed the discussants of the doctoral consortium (23 IB academics). According to them, it could make a meaningful contribution to this year's conference theme: sustainable international business in the digital age.

Coche is conducting her PhD research under the supervision of Prof.dr. Ans Kolk and co-promoter Dr. Martin Dekker. The position is financed by ABN AMRO.
