Pre-Master's programme requirements

University Bachelor's (WO) students

Admission to the MSc Business Administration pre-Master's programme is highly selective. Please check the admission requirements for University Bachelor's (WO) students before submitting your application.

About the programme

During the pre-Master's programme, you will complete coursework in either business or research related subjects. Which courses you will follow depends on the type of university degree you have completed.  Consequently, there are 2 variations of the pre-Master's programme for WO students: 

  1. The 15 EC variant that consists of courses in Marketing Management, Strategy & Organisation and Leadership & Management
  2. The 10 EC variant that consists of research methodology courses

Entry requirements

Entry requirements consist of the minimum academic study and mathematics requirements which all applicants must achieve in order to qualify for admission.

  • 1. University Bachelor’s degree

    Applicants must have completed a WO Bachelor’s programme which meets 1 of the following requirements:

    • 15 ECTS in qualitative and quantitative research methods
    • A minor in Business Administration equivalent to at least 15 ECTS and including Business Administration-related courses such as Management, Marketing, Strategy, Leadership
  • 3. Grade Point Average selection requirement

    There are many more applications from qualified candidates than there are places in the programme. As a result, the Admissions Committee selects candidates for the MSc Business Administration pre-Master’s programme based on their Grade Point Average (GPA).

    Candidates with a WO Bachelor’s degree are required to have a GPA of at least 7.0 in years 1-3 of the Bachelor’s programme, including any electives.

Admission

Applicants who meet both the eligibility and selection requirements will be considered for admission by the Admissions Committee during the selection round.  In total, there are 50 places available for university-level students.

Application

Only fully completed applications inclusive of all documents will be processed. All candidates who have qualified for selection will be informed of the result of their application by the last week of June at the latest.
