In line with the UvA Strategic Plan, each faculty draws up a Faculty Strategic Plan (FSP). In this FSP, the faculty outlines its plans for the coming period. Below you can find these faculty plans.

In the period 2021 - 2026, the FEB wants to use its FSP 'Impact Through Engagement' to focus on optimising education, increasing the social impact and visibility of research, increasing its visibility outside the UvA and developing better relationships within and outside of the university. By seeing ‘within the city’ as ‘within society', the faculty wants to stay away from the proverbial elitist ivory tower. Faculty of Social and Behavioural Sciences - Navigating a complex world
For the Faculty of Social and Behavioural Sciences, contributing to solutions to societal challenges plays an important role in the FSP 2021 – 2026 ‘Navigating a complex world’.
The FSP of the Faculty of Science describes how the faculty wants to pay attention to collaborations in research, education and valorisation on important themes such as 'Smart', 'Green' and 'Health'. It also wants to focus on the stimulation of its own community in all its diversity. Read more.
Faculty of Medicine UvA Strategic Plan
The Faculty of Medicine wants to use research and data to improve healthcare and health, to improve the interaction between molecule, patient and population, to invest in talented teams and to value research on social impact.
ACTA cares about the care of today, the care that ACTA provides every day, but also about the care of tomorrow, the care that ACTA trains dentists for, and that dentists want to train in. For this new knowledge, resources and methods are needed. ACTA also values a safe and inclusive learning and working environment.
