At the AI4Business Lab, we cleaned and analysed this data, allowing us to gain insights into regional variations in provenance scores, the prevalence of certain scores, and the implications behind them. The results of our comprehensive analysis were shared with all the Reinwardt students involved, various art world partners and the Art Crime Unit of the Dutch National Police. This project highlights the intersection of technology, art and law enforcement in the protection of cultural heritage.
