The AMBA accreditation is the British equivalent of the EQUIS and AACSB accreditation. The main difference with AACSB and EQUIS is the focus of the AMBA on MBA Programmes and Master's programmes in Business. On a world-wide basis, 254 Business Schools (which is less than 2% of all Business Schools) have obtained an AMBA accreditation. The Amsterdam MBA of UvA EB has obtained AMBA accreditation since 2016.
